There are 3 different positions we currently recruiting for multiple clients.

They are civil contractors with the focus of infrastructure works including RAILWAY, WATER TREATMENT PLANT and HIGHWAY.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Chief Construction Officer

  • Project implementation and monitoring of works and budget progress on site
  • Monitor work progress, cost and implement at all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality system
  • Handle claims for Loss, Expense and variations
  • Liaise with clients representative and consultants on daily operations of the project
  • Implementation and monitoring of site stock control system
  • Prepare Weekly and Monthly Progress Report.
  • Identification of changes in the Conditions of Contract
  • Monitor suppliers' and sub-contractors' performance and also control and verify suppliers' and/or nominated suppliers' products
  • Identify all remedial works and outstanding works that are required to be carried out
  • Ensure all inspection and test status are clearly defined
  • To undertake any and all other duties and

Project Manager

  • Reports Directly to the Project Director
  • Specifying project objectives and plans including delineation of scope, budgeting scheduling, settling performance requirements and selecting project participants
  • Liaise with clients representative and consultants on daily operations of the project
  • Prepare Weekly and Monthly Progress Report.
  • Identification of changes in the Conditions of Contract
  • Monitor suppliers' and sub-contractors' performance and also control and verify suppliers' and/or nominated suppliers' products
  • Ensure all quality and safety aspect is met
  • Maximizing the resource efficiency through procurement of labor, materials and equipment
  • Implementing various operations through proper coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting and construction in the entire process
  • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed

Construction Manager

  • Lead and responsibilities the entire project management
  • Liaison with client on all project matter
  • Organize project team for the performance of works and verification activities and provide direction and support to the project team.
  • Review, establish, control and manage the overall budget.
  • Monitor, coordinate and manage the contractual matter and procurement activities.
  • Review the performance of works, subcontractor and take initiate necessary action to maintain project on schedule.
The Successful Applicant
  • A Civil Engineering degree (preferred), chartered status (preferred) and at least 15+ years of construction project delivery work experience is required.
  • 15 years' experience as Project Director/ Project Manager/ Construction Manager on Railway industry projects , Highway related or Water industry
  • Project management skills in all phases of design and construction work
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (Preferred)
  • Broad technical knowledge and hands on approach
  • Fluent in both written/verbal English communication skills (Open to foreign nationals)
  • Computer literate particularly in Microsoft Excel, Work & Power Point. Knowledge in Microsoft Project will be an added advantage
