Provide legal support and manages the legal functions for the Group’s businesses and operations across the region;
Draft, vet, review and advise on all contracts, agreements, undertakings and other transactional documents to which the Company and/or its subsidiaries, is a party;
Assist in identifying areas of legal and compliance risks and their implications on the Company and making as well as implanting suggestions/strategies for
managing/ mitigating such risks so as to safeguard the Company’s interests;
Oversee the selection and management of work undertaken by external lawyers appointed for litigation and special projects;
Undertake ad-hoc assignments and to carry out legal research and reporting, as and when required.
Degree in Law;
Minimum 6 years of working experience as an advocate and solicitor or as in-house legal counsel with specialities in corporate finance or conveyancing and
property management/construction documentation. Legally trained applicants with working experience from construction companies and property developers are
Good language skills, both oral and written;
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills;
Good analytical skills and sound legal judgment to support business needs;
Able to multi task and work independently with minimal supervision.
