 JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible to ensure that the “New Employee On-Boarding Programme which includes Pre-joining, Induction, Integration, Engagement and Evaluation are carried
out in a timely manner to ensure positive new hire experience.
Manage and execute employee engagement surveys including conducting focus group discussions and partner with the respective stakeholders to evaluate the
survey outcome to determine appropriate action plans in meeting the University objectives. Responsible to prepare management reporting and updates of the
engagement survey.
Develop structured programmes and activities (HR Employee Engagement) that will actively drive staff engagement including establishing formal and informal
communication platform.
Assess the quality of engagement through regular meetings/surveys with employees and provide regular feedback to the management.
Facilitate proactive engagement meetings between employees and management.
Be the voice of employees in reflecting issues back to management to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Contribute to the continued improvement of the health of the organization by monitoring performance indicators, such as sickness absence, levels of grievances and
work/life balance and developing initiatives and solutions to enable positive trends.
Provide responsive support, training, advice and coaching to managers to ensure the appropriate management of all employee relations issues including in
particular grievances, poor performance and disciplinary action.
Ensure the proper manning of the HR Helpdesk and the turnaround time for responding to staff issues are within the set service level standards.
Responsible to ensure that the IMU Portal for Human Resources are updated and user friendly for all information and document retrieval.
Ensure that exit interviews are carried out and data are analyze for management review on a quarterly basis
Provide advice and carry out the process with regards to disciplinary problems.
Ensure that handling of disciplinary problems are guided through the proper disciplinary process in accordance to the Malaysian Employment Law.

Job Requirements:
A relevant degree with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act 1955.
High level of empathy, responsiveness and relationship orientation.
High level of maturity and tact to deal individuals.
International outlook Multi cultural awareness.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Service oriented and ability to think innovatively, imaginatively and insightful.
