You are required to do assessment, set goals, implement programs and update parents regarding the child’s progress at the stipulated time.
Instruct students on daily living skills required for independent maintenance and self-sufficiency, such as hygiene, safety, and food preparation.
Confer with other staff members to plan and schedule lessons promoting learning, following approved curricula and submit as required.
Instruct and monitor students in the use and care of equipment and materials, in order to prevent injuries and damage.
Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations.
Collaborate with other teachers and principal in the development, evaluation, and revision of school programs.
Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to maintain and improve professional competence.
Supervise class projects, field trips, visits by guest speakers, or other experiential activities, and guide students in learning from those activities.
Attend staff meetings, and serve on committees as required.
Provide information and share knowledge and teaching strategies related to special education with supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates as required.
You are required to maintain communication with parents at the prescribed schedule time.
Your responsibilities include arranging managing the physical structure, visual strategies and follow teaching methods implemented.
You will be a case manager of the Centre and report to the principal for any misdeed happening at the centre.
You will discuss any grievances you may have directly with the principal
Minimum diploma in Education or Psychology or Early Childhood Education
Bachelor degree in Education or Psychology or Early Childhood Education would be a plus
Minimum 2 years of experience in handling special kids
