They are seeking a motivated Senior Project Officer / Project Officer (Social and Human Rights) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with experience in workers’ rights and/ or
community engagement programme to expand our work in the Social and Human Rights space to drive transformation across connected supply chains, from businesses
to smallholder farmers.
They currently has offices in 16 countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Ecuador, India, and several locations within West Africa, Europe and the Americas. We employ

Responsibilities and Scope
Conduct assessment on labour standards
Provide analysis and recommendations to create strong social and human rights management programmes for businesses
Support the development of training modules and deliver trainings to support the implementation of social and human rights principles and guidelines
Prepare concept notes and proposals related to social and human rights work
Produce reports (for internal and external audiences) to communicate activities and report progress
Prepare proposals related to social and human rights work for businesses and/ or donors
Requirements – Candidate Profile Minimum Qualifications
Master’s / Bachelor degree or other equivalent higher level training in sociology, social sciences, law, economics, business administration or other related field
Advanced writing and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Minimum three years working experience on human rights-based issues
Good understanding of environmental and social issues in Malaysia, preferably related to palm oil industry
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Programme suite etc.
Bahasa Malaysia fluency
Passion for working on issues related to sustainability, resilience, human rights and supply chains;
Hands-on, practical, innovative;
Flexibility, takes initiative/proactive and positive attitude;
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary and multicultural team;
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work autonomously;
